Delay in Availability of Full Student Record in my.SDSU until Oct. 26

October 20, 2022

Dear Faculty and Staff:

The availability of the full student academic record in my.SDSU should now be available on Wednesday, Oct. 26, changed from the original estimate of Monday Oct. 24.

Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our student's academic data is the most important and critical aspect of our work. As we finalize the transfer of data from the upgraded degree evaluation platform uAchieve, we wanted to take additional time to conduct final review and validate this data to minimize the risk of any error that may negatively impact our students.

Impact on Student Registration Appointments
Spring 2023 registration appointments should be released in my.SDSU on Wednesday, Oct. 26.

What Impact Does this Delay Have on Advising Month?
Advising month will still begin on Monday, Oct. 24, with advisors and students having access to SDSU Navigate (EAB) to start their activities. Student academic data, including unofficial transcripts and degree evaluations, should remain available in WebPortal through Oct. 26. Full access to student records in my.SDSU should begin on Wednesday, Oct. 26.

For information and support, undergraduate advisors are encouraged to attend the Provost’s Advising Forum on Friday, Oct. 21, to be held 9 to 11 a.m. via Zoom (join the meeting at about 8:50 a.m., as registration is not required).

my.SDSU Milestones and Progress
The my.SDSU project continues to move ahead in achieving milestones as we approach our final "go live" for the complete student record on Oct. 26.

Since Oct. 10, over 48,000 individuals (including 10,000 students using Cal State Apply) have logged into our new student information system. Data for the new Cal State Apply applications are automatically loaded into my.SDSU as part of our admissions review process.

Provide Input
We appreciate your patience as we work to reach our final milestone for full student record availability in my.sdsu. If you have questions or support needs, please visit the project website at my.sdsu.edu.
