SDSU Basic Tuition and Fees Payment
Hello,
Due to the recent system conversion at San Diego State University, we want to share information on how the payment processes have changed for both students and parents. Please check with your student to see if they have a past due balance. We hope this information will lessen confusion about accessing billing information. We have provided detailed instructions, as well as helpful tools below to support you and your student. The due date for Fall 2022 Tuition and Fees, which includes Basic, Nonresident and Professional Program fee charges was August 15, 2022. It is important that this balance is paid as soon as possible.
Please note that SDSU has transitioned to my.SDSU for the Fall 2022 term. Fees listed through the SDSU WebPortal are only applicable through Summer 2022.
With SDSU's transition to my.SDSU, previous Payer Accounts will not roll over to the new system automatically. Your student will need to create a New Alternate Payer Account for you. Additionally, you must log in with your new Payer Account credentials to view the correct balance. Do not use your old login credentials when creating a new account.
Please have your student complete the following steps
- Step 1: Student log into my.SDSU.
- Step 2: Select, “Student Financial” Tile.
- Step 3: Select, “Make a Payment” tab.
- Step 4: Student is directed to Cashnet Interface for my.SDSU.
- Step 5: Select, “My Account”
- Step 6: Under Payers, select, “Send payer invitation” and complete the fields.
The parent will receive a username and temporary password from [email protected]. Passwords must contain at least 12 characters, the site indicates 8. Please be sure to check that pop-up blockers are turned off when logging in.
