PeopleSoft HR Login Error and Interim Solution: Instructions for Employees

Dear faculty, staff and student employees:
A system error occurs if you first log in to my.SDSU and then attempt to log in to PeopleSoft HR in the same browser without first logging out of my.SDSU. This error prohibits you from logging into the SDSU HR system.
As a temporary workaround to this issue, we ask you to take one of the following four actions:

As a temporary workaround to this issue, we ask you to take one of the following four actions:
- Sign out of your session in my.SDSU (click on the 3 dots - ellipses - in upper right corner, select Sign Out) before accessing PeopleSoft HR.
- Open a different browser; e.g., if you used Chrome to access my.SDSU, use Firefox to access PeopleSoft HR.
- Open an “incognito” or “private” window in your browser to access PeopleSoft HR. Instructions at: my.sdsu.edu/news/private-
browsing-window . - Clear the cache on your browser before accessing PeopleSoft HR. Instructions at: my.sdsu.edu/news/clear-cache.
We apologize for this inconvenience and are working to identify a permanent solution to this error with the California State University Office of the Chancellor.
