Unofficial and Official Transcript now Available in my.SDSU

Dear SDSU Community,

As of 4 p.m. yesterday, unofficial and official academic transcripts are now available in my.SDSU. All active students should use my.SDSU for these purposes moving forward. WebPortal usage for active students will be removed so that both transcript types can be requested or viewed in one location under the new system; alumni access will be kept active so they can continue to request their official legacy transcript.

Faculty and staff with advising roles can access the unofficial transcript through the Advisor Center. Step-by-step instructions are available on the my.SDSU website. Unofficial transcripts report the same course and grade information as the official transcripts; however, they also contain additional information about a student’s academic history, including details of their program/plan (major) each semester.

Students can view their unofficial transcript or order an official transcript in my.SDSU through the Academic Records tile. 

Electronic-only official transcripts are not currently available through my.SDSU at this time as we continue to work through a new integration with our transcript vendor, Parchment Inc.

If you do not have access to view unofficial transcripts and require this access to perform your job responsibilities, please submit a ServiceNow ticket for support.
